WOWOWOWOW! Scott and I are engaged! It sounds weird to call myself or Scott “fiancee”! Really weird. Or the future Mrs. Hulse… (ek. Don’t tell Scott.. heheh just joshin’)
Any who, bad news folks… the ceremony!!! Yeah. So read this and don’t tell me your mouth didn’t drop:
“As it turns out, the bride we were talking about had had a conversation with someone who’s no longer here, and thought she was booked. She has sent out invitations and was very deeply invested in the planning process. She believed she had paid a deposit. When we tracked down the employee who has since moved to California, she admitted that she might not have communicated with the sales team that the client was booking. I am so sorry, but the 18th is gone. I still have the 11th, and I’m prepared to offer you guys some further incentives.” [Our rep from Herban Feast]
That’s right folks. They double booked. WTF. So now Scott and I are back to start. What to do, what to do!
We are considering other places and other dates, but honestly, we were so sold on having it at Herban Feast. I mean, look at this place!

Doesn’t it make you say, “wow, nice!” And now we’re going to have to go with something that’s not as lovely, doesn’t have amazing catering and doesn’t offer Caffe Vita as a part of their beverage choice on the catering contract. That’s the worst part of all. Seriously.
We’ll probably have to settle for some place like this:

It looks tropical and almost like we’re on Pandora…but seriously. We’re on a truncated time table, friends! WHAT TO DO!?!?!?! Any recommendations?
